SEMAX

Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone) that lacks the hormonal activity of its parent molecule while retaining documented nootropic, neuroprotective, and neurotrophic activity in preclinical research. Developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, it has been studied in models of stroke, cognitive impairment, and neuropathology.
